Background
Since its foundation more than 50 years ago, Newcastle Hi-tensile Bolt Company has remained an independently owned and operated fastener specialist located in Newcastle - the commercial and industrial hub of the Hunter Valley. Initially founded as an exclusive supplier of high tensile precision bolts, nuts and screws, the name 'Newcastle Hi-tensile Bolt' has become synonymous with expertise and reliability in the supply of these products. Throughout its history the company has continued to expand its product base which now includes an extensive stock of mild steel, stainless steel, bright steel, brass and nylon fasteners, in addition to numerous specialty product ranges. Building on its traditional core product strengths, Newcastle Hi-tensile Bolt Company has developed to become a comprehensive fastener source and preferred supplier to hundreds of companies spanning the automotive, construction, manufacturing, mining, heavy engineering and maritime industries.

This commitment is reflected in an extensive stock holding which has evolved in response to customer requirements. Our stock range includes many obscure and otherwise difficult to procure items, as well as the more popular 'fast moving' lines. In addition to more than 30,000 different products held in our Mayfield warehouse, we have the capacity through our vast supplier network to source standard products not currently stocked, and the capability to organize the special manufacture of non-standard products.
